Mary Louise Kuykendall, 94, Springfield, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 in The Neighborhoods of Quail Creek. She was born February 10, 1922 in Moyers, Oklahoma to Sampson and Mary Walling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kuykendall, 9 Brothers and Sisters.

Louise married Daniel Kuykendall February 18th 1943 in Muskogee Ok, to that union they had two daughters Jan and Lynn, and in 1964 they relocated from California to Missouri. Louise retired from the Post Exchange at Ft Leonard Wood. After retirement Louise and Dan enjoyed traveling to Arizona each winter and listening to Cardinals Baseball on the Radio.

She loved spending time with and cooking for her family, her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who were the sunshine of her life. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Jan Williams and husband, Eli; Joyce Lynn Atterberry and husband, Ronnie; a brother, Harold Walling and wife, Theda; four grandchildren, Jennifer Williams, Cindy Henslee and her husband, Scott, Amber McKenzie; Aaron Atterberry and his wife, Holly; and six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Lauren, Taylor, Logan and Moxie; and several nieces and nephews.

On behalf of the family we would like to extend a special heart felt "Thank You" to the staff at the Chestnut Neighborhood at Quail Creek for the exceptional care they provided.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mtn. Grove, MO.
