Mary Kay Dollison Snider Grider, 86, Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Magnolia Square. Mary Kay was born August 23, 1927 in Republic, MO to Charles S. and Hattie Mae (Logan) Dollison. She was a 1945 graduate of Springfield Senior High School and returned to Springfield in 2007 after living in Portsmouth, VA for many years. She was a member of O.E.S. and had been an avid golfer and bridge player. In addition to her parents and sister she was preceded by her husbands, John J. Snider and Col. (USMC Ret.) Robert Q. Grider. She is survived by her son, Steve Snider, Highland, ILL; a daughter, Susan Kay Snider, Springfield and three grandchildren including Kayla Bettye Marie Hairston, Carrollton, TX. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2014 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow at noon in Springfield National Cemetery.
