Mary K. Graven, 75, of Springfield, MO, passed away at 8:32 pm on Friday, October 24, 2014 in Mercy Hospital. She was born and raised in Cabool, MO. In 1957, she married Willis Graven, raising her 2 sons in Jefferson City, MO. She was an avid Quilter and a cancer survivor. She found great joy in spending time with her family. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis, son Jeff, and sister Gloria Dryer. She is survived by her son Jay Graven (Pam) of Chesapeake, VA; daughter-in-law Patti Graven of Farmington, MO; and grandchildren Amanda, Travis, and Haley. Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, October 28, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-6 pm on Monday at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
