Mary K. Botts, 91, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 after a short illness. She was born January 7, 1921 in Maplewood, MO. She was married to Robert M. Botts June 21, 1941. To this union were born Bobbie, Ginny, Patti, Teresa, and Bill. She was preceded in death by her mother, father brother, husband and daughter Teresa. She is survived by Bobbie (Sonny), Ginny (Gary), Patti and Bill, 5 grandchildren Michael, Julie, Brian, Chris, Anthony, 8 Great-grandchildren and several nephews and cousins. She loved to read, knit, quilt and volunteer at Mercy Hospital. Her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. Funeral Mass will be at 10am Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Agnes Cathedral with the Reverend Mike McDevitt and Thomas Reidy Celebrants. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday in the St. Agnes Chapel under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or Mercy Hospital Auxiliary.
