Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Lorenz, 43, Springfield, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in her home.  She was born December 20, 1977 in Springfield, the daughter of Frank E. Lorenz, Sr. and Barbara Carole (Welsh) Lorenz.

Beth graduated from Hillcrest High School and later Missouri School of Cosmetology.  She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, attending concerts and a day full of shopping.

Anyone who knows Beth, knows that she's never met a stranger.  She had the biggest heart and always found a way to support her friends.  Her loving smile and spirit will be missed by all her family and friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her father, Frank, in 2013 and her best friend and fur baby, Wally Ray.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara; two brothers, Mark (Sandy) Lorenz and Frank Lorenz, Jr.; two sisters, Virginia (Jeff) Bailey and Terri (Peter) Shriver; her boyfriend, John Galindo and his children, Abigail and Kerrigan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, with a funeral mass beginning at 11:00 a.m., under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Springfield.  Beth was a huge animal lover and the family would appreciate a donation in her name to Rescue One, 1927 East Bennett St, Springfield, MO 65804, in lieu of flowers.
