Mark Ross Tisdale, aka Tiz, age 70 of Springfield, Missouri, passed away March 20, 2023 after a four week battle with leukemia. Mark was born March 3, 1953 to John Terry Tisdale and Opal Ross Tisdale of Malvern, Arkansas.
Mark graduated from Malvern High School in 1971 and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and went on to work an impressive 42 years as a pharmacist.
Mark was an avid golfer and member of Twin Oaks Country Club, where he may have been known to throw a golf club or two. He sure enjoyed his golfing buddies.
He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and had recently rededicated his life to God, had been rebaptized, and was very proud of and excited about those decisions.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, John Terry Tisdale, Jr. May their heavenly reunion be glorious.
Mark is survived by daughter, Alexis Tisdale, grandson, Jean Luc Lave, and wife, Tamara Tisdale, of Springfield, Missouri, and numerous other wonderful relatives and friends.
My dad was truly one of the most unique individuals I have ever known. His wit, sarcasm, and dynamic personality will remain unmatched. He will be deeply missed, more so than he could ever know. Until we meet again, nagger.
