Marjorie (Oliver) Edwards, 80 of Springfield passed away at 3:30 AM Sunday, June 27, 2010 in her home. She was born December 24, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to Julia and Clyde Oliver. Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Church of Ozark, but enjoyed her Sunday School Class at Second Baptist Church in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Oliver and Julia Hargrove. Marjorie is survived by her husband, James (Pete) Edwards of the home; a daughter, Rebecca Bower of Sarasota, FL; two sons, Dale and Randall Edwards both of Ozark; and a daughter, Joy Edwards Reynaud (Rusty) of Strafford; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; her siblings, Robert Oliver, Mary Connors, Tom Hargrove and Donna Limron. Funeral services will be Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Brother Jim Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
