Marjorie L. East, 90, of Springfield, passed away on March 5, 2017. She was born on January 13, 1927 to Everett and Ruth Price. She graduated from Fair Play High School. She was a fantastic cook and loved being a stay at home mom to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Carla, sister Margaret, and brother James.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joe C. East, son Dale East, three grandchildren, Carissa, Amanda, and Amy, and many other close friends and family.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3645 South Ave, Springfield, MO 65807.
