Marion Austin Reynolds, 79, of Springfield, passed away on April 7, 2019. He was born March 17, 1940 in Kern County, CA to William and Zina Reynolds. He graduated from Ceres High School in Ceres, CA. He then served 4 years in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked for the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department for 27 years. He loved to camp, ride his Goldwing and spend time with his family.

Not long after his retirement in 1991, he and his wife, Alice, moved to Missouri. Although the distance from Missouri to his hometown was thousands of miles away, he still made it a point to remain close to the friends he made at the Sheriff's Office.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jeff Reynolds; siblings Bud Reynolds, Georgia Worthington, Nora Boyd, and Ralph Reynolds; mother-in-law Lily Bryant; and father-in-law Stan Bryant.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Alice; daughter Sherri Fleming (Greg); 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many other loving family and friends.

Memorial services with Full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at East Sunshine Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or East Sunshine Church of Christ.
