Marion Lester Curtis, 87, of Springfield, MO passed away October 2, 2012 at Cox South Hospital. Marion was born on February 27, 1925 in Granite City, Illinois. He was actively involved at the Southside Senior Center and a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Such a joy to be around, he was so caring to everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy; son, Mark (Kris) Curtis, daughters, Caroline (Gene) Collins and Rosemary (Daniel) Williams; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home at 10:00am on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
