Marie Weaver Oliver, 92, passed away on June 20, 2013. She was born July 15, 1920 in Niangua, Missouri to Edward Jackson Young and Sarah Effie (Walton) Young.. She married Neul Dwaine Weaver, who preceded her in death, on January 9, 1964. She later married Russell B. Oliver who preceded her on November 27, 2003. She was the valedictorian of the 1938 graduating class of Niangua High School. She worked in motel management and was a vision inspector for the Mo. Dept. of Revenue. She was a member of University Heights Baptist Church in Springfield. Marie was a proud lady, always well groomed, immaculately dressed, and was a dedicated wife and mother. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother and ten sisters. She is survived a son, Bill Dwaine Weaver (Bobbie) and son Gregory Weaver of Springfield, MO; daughter, Becky Sue Smith; grandson, Scott Edward Smith (Karen); and 3 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Grayson, and Rylan. Visitation will be Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Graveside service will be Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:00am in Hazelwood Cemetery.
