Margie Ann Newberry Whitson was born July 9, 1937 and went to Heaven October 27, 2020. She is survived by her husband William (Bill), son, Tim and wife Becky of O'Fallon, MO; daughter, Heidi of Springfield, 4 grandchildren; Tiffany Leonard of O'Fallon, MO, Kurtis Estes of Salisbury, MO, Ashley Murray of Wichita Falls, TX and Donnie Estes of Mt. Vernon, MO, 6 great-grandkids; Zane, Olivia, Gracie, Riley, Jackson and Lynnie, brothers Richard and wife Lyn of Wever, IA and Dan Newberry and wife Donna of St. Charles, MI and sisters Jeanette Young and husband Dick of Creston, IL and Donna Jarvis and husband Mike of Niota, IL.

Margie was a wonderful wife, mother, granny and GG. She loved to spend time with family. She was also a talented artist who spent many years in painting class and won many awards for her oil paintings.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 30 also at the Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Kurtis Estes. Private Burial will be held in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
