Margaret Lee Colbert White was born September 11, 1944 to Samuel Colbert and Florence Parks-Adams in Springfield, MO.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  She has two brothers, Garland Adams (wife Lynette) and Harry Adams; sister, Mary Adams and longtime family friend.

Margaret attended Lincoln School and graduated from Central High School in 1964.  She later married Harold D. White.

She will always be remembered for her smile, laugh and sense of humor.  Margaret leaves to celebrate the memory of her life; son, Richard White (wife Geraldine); two daughters, Jacklyn Smith and Juanita White; twelve grandchildren; Latease, Nicole, Leeajaih, Katina, Mark, Brittney, Ronisha, Ronnie, Natalie, Richard, Jr., Rakeem and Ron'ya; and four great-grandchildren; Amaya, Kyarie, Emani Wallace and Kasai.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
