During her kid's childhood Maggie was very involved in their activities such as Boys and Girls Scouts and their many high school events. Maggie was always that Mom that was there for everything her children were involved in. After Chris and Kim graduated from high school, Maggie became a preschool teacher for many years. Following the death of her husband Charles, Maggie relocated back to her hometown of Springfield Mo. She then took on a career in retail at Dillards at the Springfield Mall for many years until her retirement. Maggie had overcome her battles with breast cancer, which did not slow her down with her daily activities. Maggie loved to read and was always looking for someone to swap a good book with and chat about it. Maggie is very well known as a perfectionist seamstress. She enjoyed making clothing for her family and especially for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Another great pastime that Maggie enjoyed was packing up the car for day fishing trips to the lake were she just loved to sit on the bank with a worm on her hook! Maggie was also an active bowler and played on a Sunday nights league for many, many years. Maggie was loved by many. She showed how much she cared and how proud she was of her family every day of her life. Maggie left us with her loving family by her side and waiting for her at Heavens gates were her loving husband Charles and infant son Charles Michael.
