Marcia B. Walters, 66, of Springfield passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013. Marcia was born on June 6, 1947 in Springfield to William Edward and Ceola Kelsey Barnes. She married David Walters on March 20, 1971. Marcia graduated Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and received her Master's as a Medical Librarian in Houston, Texas. Marcia is survived by her husband David, and several family members. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. No visitation is scheduled.
