Marcia Louise Medler, 42 of Springfield passed away at 10:13 AM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Cox South Hospital.

Marcia was a member of High Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel L. Clark, step-father, Derek K. Certain Sr., grandparents, Abe and Ernestine Clark, Sr. , Red and Chris Medler, and Edna Certain.

Marcia is survived by her mother, Mabel Medler, daughter, Mariesha Nails, son, Rashad Anderson, aunt, Kim Medler, three grandchildren, Sorezja, Joaquin, and Nova, sister, Katie, brothers, Samuel and wife, Barbie, Joshua and Derek, Jr. and wife, Ashton, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Friday in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel, with Pastor Jasmine Luck officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the funeral home.
