Marcella (Sally) Fick went peacefully to be with Jesus her Lord and Savior on Wednesday August 15, 2012 at The Baptist Home in Ozark, MO. Funeral services will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church Springfield, MO on Saturday August 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Memorial services will be held at the Mitchellville, IA Community Cemetery on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Sally was born August 22, 1916 the daughter of John M and Renstena Schultz at Pomeroy, IA. She married Wilbur (Bill) Fick on December 31, 1936. Three children were born to their marriage, a son and two daughters. Sally and Bill moved from Des Moines, IA to Springfield, MO in 1972 and made this their residence for their remaining years. She was a very active person assuming leadership in church and community. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and two brothers. Left to cherish the memories of her life are a son Alan (Georgia) Fick of Nixa, MO; two daughters Marilyn (Norm) Luttinen of Cedar Falls, IA and Helen Hearn Sturtevant, WI; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
