Marc Douglas (Mad Dog) Rehkop, 68, of Springfield, died March 7, 2016, at his home. Mr. Rehkop was born February 3, 1948, in Ironton, Missouri, to Alvin and Norma (Matthews) Rehkop.  He attended Parkview High School in Springfield.  Mr. Rehkop lived a very colorful and adventurous life.  He was known for his phenomenal mechanical skills and his expert knowledge of firearms. His passion was motorcycles, which he lived to ride, and also enjoyed racing them.  He was always full of entertaining stories that he liked to share with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother.  He is survived by his sister, daughter, granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters, and a nephew.  He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Arrangements are with Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
