Maebelle Louise Riffle, age 96, of Springfield, MO died Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her home.

Maebelle was a retired full time homemaker raising two sons and caring for her late husband and her mother in the later years.

Maebelle is survived by her son Lance (Luanne) Riffle of Springfield, MO; her daughter-in-law Lori Riffle of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Emerson and Aaron Riffle and great-grandchild Emmerich Riffle, sister Ann Wintermuth and sister-in-law Phyllis Giffin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Stuart Riffle, her parents Fred and Amy Giffin, her son Benson Riffle, her sister Ester Goodwine, and her brother Donald Giffin.

She enjoyed music, crafting, sewing, quilting, and helping with activities at her retirement apartment later in life.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. She will be put to rest alongside her husband Miles.  Online condolences can be made at www.gormanscharpf.com.
