Our beloved mother, Madena Faye Hall, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024, at the age of 94. She is survived by her two siblings, Jim Maggard and Francis Montgomery; her two daughters, Nancy Martin and Elaine Dorn and their husbands James Martin and David Dorn; five grandchildren, Nicole Layman, Jennifer Woolweaver, Jamie Cully, Matthew Dorn, and Christopher Martin; their spouses, David Layman, Michael Woolweaver, Joshua Cully, and Amanda Dorn; and one great grandson Ky-Mani Layman.

She was born at home in Ava, Missouri on January 18,1930. Her childhood instilled a lifelong passion for ministry, and she loved to speak about her Savior with anyone who would listen. She was the administrator for Calvary Baptist Christian School for 13 years. Madena and Rev. Lester Hall married on April 06, 1946, and had a long and happy marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents Caleb and Nancy Maggard, thirteen siblings, and her beloved husband Rev. Lester Hall.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, at Cherry Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
