Lynn DeCamp, 75, of Springfield, MO died March 24 at Cox Medical Center following a brain aneurism. She was a retired x-ray tech and was an active volunteer in several community groups and at her church. She was born in Richmond, MO, was raised in Independence, MO and graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1958. She started her career at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia and continued it in Springfield until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and one of her last acts was to make a donation for her grandchildrens' future mission trip. She is survived by her husband, Ernest DeCamp; son, Gregory and daughter-in-law Tricia of KCMO; daughter Sara Lynn DeCamp of Raytown; brothers Michael Amerine of Blue Springs, Gary Amerine and sister-in-law, Shirley of KCMO; Graham Amerine and sister-in-law Sandy of Lee's Summit; sister Sue Coleman of Independence; sister Anita Woolf and brother-in-law Steve of Independence. She was so proud of her grandchildren Reagan and Ryan DeCamp. Visitation will be Saturday, March 28 at Schweitzer United Methodist Church in Springfield starting at 12:30 pm.
