LuAnn Mosher was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 8, 1926 and died June 5, 2009 at Cox Medical Center South. LuAnn graduated form the University of Kansas with a BA in history, the top woman in her class and received a Masters Degree in education from the University of Missouri. She spent more than twenty years with the Springfield Public Schools as a psychological examiner. LuAnn was a Life Master contract bridge player. She is survived by her companion of forty-four years Dale Burns of Springfield, Mo. her daughters Melinda Mosher Goodwin and her husband Tom of Rogersville, Mo. Amy Mosher M. D. of St. Louis, Mo. grandson Nicholas Goodwin; and her cat Snow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Southwest Missouri Humane Society.
