Lowell Dean Gann was born Sept. 27, 1939, the son of Orville and Vida Gann in Elkland, Missouri. He died Aug. 5, 2020 at age of 80.

He was saved, baptized and joined Green Mountain Missionary Baptist Church as a young boy.

At age 18, he joined the Marines and was stationed in California.  After the Marines he stayed in California and worked at Sears and married wife, Fidelina on Mar. 20, 1987. He had one son Stephen Gann, before moving back to Springfield, Missouri. In Springfield he worked at Montgomery Ward and Sears before retiring.

Lowell Dean was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Erline Gene Gann and Noel Jay Gann, one sister; Juanita Lowder, two brothers in law; Glen Lowder and Gary Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Fidelina; one son Stephen Gann of California, one step daughter; Claudia Edgar Anton of Guatemala, two step-sons; Ruben Serrano of California and Jose Orellana of New York, three granddaughters, two grandsons, three sisters; Valeta Gann of Buffalo, Arletta (Darrell) Weeks of Buffalo, Anita Stewart of Buffalo and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He will be sadly missed.

Funeral service will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
