Esther "Louise" Huitt, age 87 of Springfield, MO passed away on March 3, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Huitt and son-in-law Don Freeman.

Louise is survived by her son Dan Huitt and his wife Bea Thompson, granddaughter Annie Huitt and grandson Robert Huitt, all of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by daughter Cynthia Freeman, Springfield, MO and granddaughter Natalie Freeman, Lawrence, KS. Also surviving are her daughter, Laurie Fisher and her husband Rick and grandson, Luke Fisher, all of Springfield, MO.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1465 E. Primrose, Springfield, MO 65804.

The family would like to thank Woodland Manor, Visiting Angels (Georgeanne), Hospice Compassus, and their loving friends who have supported them throughout this journey.
