Lorraine W. Mayfield, 88, passed away peacefully July 12, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born September 25, 1922 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Lloyd C. Watt and Emma A. Watt (Schliep). She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for fifty plus years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Fred C. and brother-in-law, Hubert Greer. She is survived by her son, James (Debbie) of Springfield; her brother, Lloyd (Janice); and sister, Muriel of Minneapolis; one granddaughter, Natalie (Eric) Hunt; one step-grandson, Chris (Deanna) Hines; one great-granddaughter, Olivia; three step great-granddaughters, Julia, Madison, and Natalie; and one step great-grandson, Jared. Per her request, she is to be cremated and a private graveside service is planned. We wish to thank Seasons Hospice and the nursing staff at Manor Care.
