On the evening of June 27th, after 77 years of embodying compassionate, humble, self-giving love in simple, yet profoundly powerful ways, Lorraine Anne (Lepper) Stallcup, peacefully entered her final, deepest rest in the arms of her Creator. Her son Brad and daughter Kirsten were with her right through her final heartbeats and breaths. Our grief in her loss is real, and yet, is embraced in a deeper sense of peace and gratitude for her life, her spirit, her smile, her service, and her deep and abiding love for God and all of creation. For all who have been able to send comforting thoughts and prayers for her and Bob in their health struggles over these past several months, there is truly no language we can conjure to fully communicate our deep appreciation and thankfulness. We love you! Lori was born on October 14, 1936 to Harry Lepper and Viola Schroeder on the South side of Chicago, IL. She was the fourth of five children and preceded in death by Harry Lepper Jr. She is survived by siblings, Violet Lepper, Robert Lepper and David Lepper.
