Obituary

Loretta (Jean) Crane, 79, of Willard, MO, passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in her home unexpectedly. Jean was born March 4, 1934, along with her identical twin Lorna Joan to Jeff and Wilmetta Linebaugh. She grew up with two more sisters and a brother. Jean attended Bowerman, Reed, and Central High School. At 16, she married Junior Hayter and had four children; Kathy, Karen, Rex, and Randy Hayter. Later in life, she married Ron Crane and shared 28 wonderful years before his passing in 2010. Jean could warm your heart with a piece of pie or be quick-witted in the blink of an eye. She loved baking sweets and preparing lovely meals for her family. Jean was kind, giving, and always helping where needed. Jean will be greatly missed by many who loved her very much. Jean was baptized with her daughters Kathy and Karen in 1970 at the 2nd Baptist Church in Walnut Grove, MO. She believed in Jesus Christ with all her heart. For all those who believe as she did, we will see her again someday. Rest in peace beautiful lady. You will live in our hearts forever. Jean was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Linebaugh; mother, Wilmetta (Bain) Linebaugh; sisters, Betty Wester and Joan Hill; brother, Jim Linebaugh; husband, Ron Crane; and grandson, Christopher Hayter. She is survived by her sister, Mary Sue Hunt, Republic, Mo; daughters, Kathy Burk and husband Mark, Willard, MO, and Karen (Hayter) Greeson, Springfield, MO; sons, Rex Hayter, Pueblo, Colorado, and Randy Hayter and wife Jeanne, Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Brian Joy and wife Christy, Bethany Joy, Todd and Jason Hale, Adam Hayter, Samantha Hodges and husband Eric, Ryan Greeson and wife Nicole, Amber Horton and husband Rob, Dianna Burk, and Mark Burk, Jr; great-grandchildren Meghan and Macy Greeson, Ashton Mosley, Cody Sandusky, Aiden Joy, Matthew and Todd Hale, R.C.
