Lois J. Dean, 79, Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in her home.  She spent 20 years working at Heritage Cafeteria and 23 years with Oxford Health Care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Dean; parents, Wilbur and Mary Reese; and two brothers, Joe and Don.

Lois is survived by her son, James Dean and wife, Janie; a sister, Debbie Stevens; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Chapel at First Baptist Church, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.  Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
