Linda L. Weaver, 62, of Springfield, MO, wife of James "Jim" Weaver died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in her home. Linda was born October 23, 1950 in Niangua, MO to the late Oren Cheek and Irene (Anglen) Cheek. She was preceded in death by her sister Connie, father, Oren and brother, David. Linda is survived by her husband, Jim, and their four children: Matthew and wife Kelly Weaver, John and wife Jennifer Weaver, Kathy and husband Jared Willard, and Heather Weaver. Linda is also survived by her mother, Irene; her three sisters, Bonnie, Marsha and Karen; her two grandsons, Adam and Christopher Weaver; her husband Jim's three sisters Katie, Evalin and Diane. Always the caregiver, Linda was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and nurse. She has touched many lives and was loved by everyone that knew her. Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield, MO on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 3 to 5pm. Services will be held on Monday at 10am in the funeral home.
