Our mother Linda K. Mugford passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 after a long illness. She was born to Luther and Effie Whitworth in Kilgore, Texas on November 9, 1946. Mom was preceded in death by our sister Jennifer Mugford. She is survived by son, Christopher Mugford; daughter, Kim Smith and husband Kevin; grandsons, Ryan Munson and Paul Smith all of Clever; granddaughter, Chelsey Smith; and great-grandson, Konner Willis of Republic; and last, but not least her dog, Cinnamon who now resides at his new home in Clever. Mom loved her children, liked to laugh, crack jokes, play bingo, "facebook", arts and crafts, sing karaoke, and she absolutely adored her dog. We will greatly miss you and will see you again someday! We love you with all of our hearts! Linda will be buried in Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. There will be a memorial service at South Towers apartments in Springfield on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 5 p.m., and a celebration of life on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the home of her daughter Kim in Clever, Missouri.
