Lillian Ida McSweeney, 64, Nixa, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. Lillian was born in New Hartford, N.Y. to John Henry and Ara Louise Vincent Bodle.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lillian enjoyed riding horses, spending time with her grandchildren, puzzles, board games and helping people during her years as a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Michael McSweeney. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, Danny McSweeney, Matthew McSweeney; grandchildren, Lilly Fitzpatrick, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Jordan Fitzpatrick, Danny McSweeney Jr., Vinny McSweeney, Leah McSweeney, Kirah McSweeney and Ciarah McSweeney.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., until service time in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel, 1947 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO 65804.
