Libby Marie Walker (Mitchell)

Libby Marie Walker, age 61, of Springfield, entered her Heavenly home on April 6th, 2026. Libby was devoted to her faith, family, and love of sports. In 1992, Libby and her husband Davy founded Walker Janitorial, and she was a loyal employee of Mercy Health System for 14 years. Libby was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Richard Mitchell, and brothers James, Rick and Scott. Libby is survived by Davy, her husband of 33 years, daughter Kenzie (Drew), sons Lance (Tiffany) and Luke. She is also survived by brother Mark Ferguson (Jayme), sister Debby Mitchell, and brother Marty Mitchell (Tonia), and grandson Talon. Libby is also survived by countless nieces and nephews.

Philippians 4:13 gave Libby comfort just as her sense of humor comforted others.

A private family graveside service will be held Saturday, April 11th, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3 to 7 p.m. at 2157 E. Meadow Drive in Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks and the American Heart Association.
