This very special Lady passed away February 8, 2018.  Leta was born October 13, 1927 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Roy and Gertrude Lutz, she married Tomas Bartley Staniec on February 3, 1952.  Leta was a wonderful homemaker, mother and step-mother and worked in a Nursing Home early on as she resided in a care center for her last home, due to health, but got her hair and nails done regularly.  She raised four sons.  She had a very giving spirit and loved everyone – she loved gardening and cooking and taking care when she was able. After her first husband's passing in 1986, she met George Kilgore and they were married in 1988.

Survivors include:  two sons, Melvin and David; two step-sons George, Jr. and Patrick; four step-daughters; Sharon, Georgia, Cindy and Kathy; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.    She is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas B. Staniec; two sons, Glen (1990), and Wayne (2007); two step-sons, Sam (2005) and Danny (2011); step-daughter Dana; her second husband, George Kilgore (2015), buried in Dennis, KS.
