Lester Fred Hall, 89, of Springfield, departed from this life peacefully at home on Friday, May 22, 2015 Lester was the son of Roy and Myrtle Hall. He served faithfully in the ministry for 53 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Madena; two daughters, Nancy Martin and Elaine Dorn; and five grandchildren, Nancy Nicole Martin, Jennifer Elaine Dorn, Jamie Ashley Martin, Matthew David Dorn, and Christopher Anthony James Martin. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 27, at Cherry Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the church.
