Leslie June Goodman,73, of Springfield passed away at 11:24 p.m. Sunday January 24, 2010 in Cox Medical Center South. Leslie was born June 23, 1936 in Marionville, Missouri to Oscar and Mary Goodman. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a plumber and for the past 20 years taught plumbing at Vo-Tech. He was also a member of the Gate of the Temple Masonic Lodge 422. Leslie is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Linda; a son Brian and his wife Kris; a daughter Cheryl Schroeder and her husband Dave; brothers, Stanley & Shirley, Joe & Margaret, and Eddie & Rose; a sister-in-law, Judy Jackson & Jerry; grandchildren Lindsay Schroeder, Jessica Goodman, Matthew Schroeder and Emily Schroeder; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends at Rice Camp. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with burial with full military honors in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Missouri at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the funeral home.
