Leona M. Fairley, 92, Springfield, Mo., passed away May 10, 2011. She was born April 11, 1919 in Purdy, Mo. Leona attended Central High School. She married John W. Fairley on May 11, 1941 in Sacred Heart Church, Springfield, Mo. She retired from Cranks Drug Company in 1979. Leona was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church and very active in the Catholic School System. She received the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award from St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister. Survivors include: her husband, John W. Fairley; children, Geralyn Natalino and husband Michael, Jean White and husband Randy; grandchildren, Michael Natalino and wife Kristi, Mitchell Natalino, Sean and Christopher Appleby; great-grandchildren Aleah Appleby, Gavin and Andrew Williams, Jacob Gamble; niece, Carolyn Buron; nephew, Robert Stoviak. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation and Rosary Service will be in St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
