Obituary

Leo Paul Jaworski, Jr. passed away at his home in Nixa, Mo on April 7th, 2014. Leo is predeceased by his parents, Leo Paul Jaworski, Sr. and Mary Jaworski. He is survived by his son, Joseph David Jaworski and his wife, Tina Jaworski; his daughter, Kimberly Ann Jaworski and her companion, Mike Creek; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; granddaughter, Cherie Nicole Rowden and her children, Timothy Riley Rowden and Katherine JoAnn Rowden; granddaughter, Kalafornia Kay Jaworski and her son, Noah Aiden Jaworski; grandsons, Richard Alexander Tribby and Hunter Riley Creek. Leo is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Marianne Coats and Marge Shosky and his loving nieces, nephews and other relatives. Leo was born on April 25th 1946. He served his country in the US Army from 1964 and was honorably discharged in 1967. He was proudly employed by the Postal Service from March 22, 1967 until he retired on January 2nd, 2002. He enjoyed sports, especially his Pittsburgh teams, his daily walks where he would talk with his neighbors and spending time with his family. A prayer service will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 3pm with visitation to follow until 5pm in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 14th at 11am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Msgr. Thomas Reidy celebrant. Interment will be at 2pm in Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dickerson Park Zoo or the Family Violence Center. Thank you, Dad, for the great times we shared on Football Sundays watching our Pittsburgh Steelers, those moments were not just games but memories being made. I love you and I will miss you dearly.
