Leland Joe Hemme, 82, of Hermitage, MO passed away at 5:40 AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Springfield, MO.

He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Hermitage, MO. He retired from General Motors in Kansas City, MO on August 28, 1992 after 30 years of service.

Leland was preceded in death by his spouse, Linda Hemme; father, Louis Hemme; mother, Rachel Hemme; brother, Donald Hemme; son-in-law, Harry Clark; father-in-law Frank Ratliff and mother-in-law Frances Ratliff.

Leland is survived by his daughters Sarah Sullins of Aldrich, MO, Rachel Clark of Springfield, MO and Mary Hemme of Hickory County, MO; his son, Madison Hemme of Hermitage, MO along with 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
