IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leanna "Toni"
Lee Peine
September 27, 1963 – September 27, 2022
Leanna Lee Peine, better known as Toni, lost her battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 59 in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 27. She was born in Inglewood, California on September 27, 1963. She was born at 1:41 p.m. and took her last breath on her birthday at 2:10 p.m., surrounded by family. She passed with her daughter, son, sister, and niece all holding her and surrounding her with love. She had three children and 9 grandchildren that she loved fiercely and more than anything else. She worked at Russell Cellular and is leaving behind a work family that she loved as well. She is survived by her son, Nathan Brouse, his partner Shanda, and their seven children: Collin, Kaedyn, Laeken, Azaria, Rogue, Piper, and Addy; her daughter Jasmine Robinson, her husband Matt, and their two children: Leo and Jocelyn; her son, Trevor Brouse; a sister by choice, Suzanne Putman and her three children; and a loving friend Jarad Cole. A graveside service will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery on Friday, September 30th at 1:00 p.m. Flowers can be sent in her name to Gorman-Sharpf Funeral Home; please do not send glass vases.
Toni had a huge heart and truly cared about the people in her life. She was always willing to give anything you needed even if it meant she might struggle some. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren and made sure to attend all things she could. She was there for every birthday, even if you weren't doing anything for it, holiday, and even the small things like her grandchildren's first day of school. She loved holidays and passed on the traditions of embracing loved ones, decorating, and loving on each other for all holidays. One of her greatest joys was watching everyone open the gifts that she thought hard and picked out for them. She went to her kids houses to have her grandchildren trick or treat and was always smiling when it came to them. She loved painting, being outside fishing, swimming, laying out to tan, going to fall festivals and craft fairs, making family ornaments every year, doing crafts with the kids, making blankets for the kids, word searches, General Hospital, getting sucked into watching the "dead" channel, but mostly being with family. She had the biggest smile and the greatest laugh, she could hold a grudge like nobody else, but would still be there for anyone in their time of need. She was strong, stubborn, honest, resilient, smart, and fiesty. She was fierce, fought hard for everything, and never gave up on anything important. She would want to be remembered as someone who loved fiercely and lived her life unapologetically to the fullest. She will be missed, but her love will continue on through her children and grandchildren.
