Leah Blair Kasperski-Braden of Nixa, MO died Saturday, February 15th in her home. She was born October 2nd, 1980 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood, MO to James Edward Kasperski and Phyllis Denise (Beier) Kasperski. Leah was educated in her youth in Montessori-style schools and continued in life with education being of great importance. She attended Nixa High School and was looking forward to graduating from OTC in May to continue her education in pre-law studies at Missouri State University. Leah appreciated art in all mediums and was especially fond of visual and auditory forms. She had an eye for the eclectic. Leah is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents; paternal grandfather Edward John Kasperski, and maternal grandmother Helen Alreda Beier and grandfather Gustave Adolph Beier, Sr. Leah is survived by her daughters, Frances McKenna and Amelei Grace; her loving and enduring parents, James and Phyllis Kasperski; her sister Lauren Kasperski and partner John Anno and children; her brother James Brett Kasperski; her paternal grandmother Mary Wanda Kasperski; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as innumerable friends. Leah's purest joys in life were her daughters and her nieces Valen and Brielle and her nephew Jack. She was never happier than when she had a house full of children and her precious four-legged fur babies, Pup-pie and Rosie, nearby. A private family viewing will be held in Springfield with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held in Saint Louis. As education was of utmost importance to Leah, a college savings account for the education of her daughters will be maintained at Empire Bank c/o Frances or Amelei P. O.
