Lawrence David Johns, 78, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 in his home in Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. No visitation is planned; however, friends may call after 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell, Suite G, Springfield, MO 65807, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
