Lawrence Elliott Bedford, 79, of Springfield, MO, died on October 14, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.  He was born in Columbia, MO in 1945 to William C. and Mary Alice Bedford.  After graduating from Hickman HS he joined the Air Force.  Larry was honorarily discharged and later would graduate from SMSU with a BS.  He was united in marriage to Sharon King Bedford in 1972.  He is survived by his wife Sharon; son Marc Bedford (Carissa); his sister, Susan Joslyn (Leslie); brother in law, Richard L King Jr; sister in law, Mary VanVoorn (Bud); sister in law, Michelle Bradley; and 8 nieces and nephews.

Larry was a friend to all and never met a stranger.

At his request no services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Country Soccer because of his love for the soccer community.
