Laura Wells passed away on July 7, 2017 supported by many friends and family.  Laura retired as Vice-President of Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco.  After moving back to Springfield in April 1990, she began working again at Great Southern Bank.  Laura was a devoted member of the Ever Green Garden Club, she enjoyed bowling, playing bunco, and was involved in many social groups.  Laura wanted everyone to know she lived a full and happy life.  She will be missed by many.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Lynda Klingensmith; son, Bruce Wells and wife, Pam; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many close friends.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 6 pm in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
