IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laura "Beth"
Robertson
September 13, 1948 – February 24, 2026
Beth was born on September 13, 1948, in Hartville to Everett and Dessie Hensley. She grew up surrounded by six older brothers, Dale, Glenn, Morris, Donnie, Bob, and Jim all of whom preceded her in death, along with her parents. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Junior Robertson; her son-in-law, Doug Wilson; brothers-in-law Henry, Raymond, Gary, and Kenny; sisters-in-law Peggy, Esther, and Candy; and dear family friends Danny and Irene Jones.
She married the love of her life, Junior Robertson, on May 9, 1969, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and hospitality.
Beth is survived by her daughter, Becky of Ozark; her son, Paul Robertson and wife Allison of Ozark; and her treasured grandsons, Clayton and Rhett, who were the absolute light of her life.
A devoted member of Galloway Baptist Church, Beth's faith guided everything she did. She loved Jesus deeply, kept an ever-growing prayer list, and never missed a chance to lift someone up in prayer. If you didn't have a mom or grandma, she stepped right in and treated you as her own, whether she had known you for years or had just met you. She welcomed everyone with open arms, a full kitchen, and usually a plate of her famous chocolate chip cookies.
She loved gathering family for Robertson Thanksgiving each year, once hosting 104 people in a single celebration, a testament to the way she built family wherever she went. Rather than risk leaving anyone out, her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy extends to countless relatives, friends, church members, neighbors, and "adopted" loved ones who were blessed to call her family.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous heart, her humor, her love for her grandsons, and even for feeding every outdoor cat in Galloway, though she would insist she didn't even like cats.
Her life was a living example of Christ's love, and her impact will continue for generations.
