Larry Ross Altaffer, 67 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at St. John's Hospital. He was born December 6, 1943 in San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Pauline Altaffer. Larry is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Ronda; step-son, Chris; three granddaughters and a grandson; as well as a host of friends and relatives. He graduated from Central High School in 1962 and retired from 3M in 2001 after thirty plus years. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Eastlawn Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.
