Obituary

Kristopher (with a K) Marc Mills, age 25, of Springfield went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis after an eight month battle with leukemia. He was born March 1, 1987 in Springfield, the son of Marc and Kathy Mills. Kris graduated from Glendale High School in 2005 where he was a member of the Springfield Youth Symphony and the Speech and Debate Team. In 2008 he married Danielle Dohmen in Willard, MO. He was a Verification Technician at Digital Monitoring Products. Kris enjoyed his mission trips to Wales, computer gaming, their two children and attended Baptist Bible College. Fur Fees was welcomed to heaven by his grandfather, Don Coin, grandparents, Fred and Mary Mills, and countless other family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dani, daughter, Natalie and son, Xander. Kris is also survived by his parents, Marc and Kathy, his brother Nick and his sister Abbie. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1p.m. in High Street Baptist Church with The Reverends Eddie Lyons, Ron Hullett and Patrick Shawhan officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the High Street Baptist Church Missions Trip Fund and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Twenty-five years of Kristopher's infectious laugh was not enough.
