Kimberly (Richards)Waldron was born on December 1,1982 and passed on February 22, 2020 in Springfield.

Kim attended Aurora schools then received a scholarship to attend Drury College. After she received her Bachelor's degree she got her Master's degree at St. Louis University. Kim got a job with the State of Missouri in Sikeston and that is where she met her husband Dave Waldron. Kim worked for the state until her health started failing a couple of years ago.

She was a shining light for all that knew her.

Kim absolutely loved the St. Louis Cardinals and was a rabid fan.

Kim is survived by her husband Dave Waldron; her mother, Patti Shipman; her father, Robin Richards and his wife, Shelly; brother, Jimmy Shipman; sisters, Sara Kendrick, Kathryn Shipman and Kristin Shipman; and multiple uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and her in-laws.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 1:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kimberly's name to the American Diabetes Association, 15455 Conway Road, Suite 360, Chesterfield, MO 63107.
