Kimberly Ann Van Dover Nye, age 69, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026, in St. Louis. Kim was born June 27, 1957, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to Jackson and Nellie Van Dover.

Kim is preceded in death by her children, Leigh and Matthew Nye (Jeff Nye), and her parents, Jackson and Nellie Van Dover.

She is survived by her siblings, Stacy (Michael) Kilker, Scott (Debbie) Van Dover, Kara (John) Byrne, and Leslie (Matt) Godfrey.

Kim was a dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Springfield, Missouri, starting at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, in Springfield, Missouri.

Additionally there will be a Memorial Mass on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Ave, Valley Park, MO 63088, starting at 10:00 AM, with a visitation starting at 9:30 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church and School, 1115 N. Campbell, Springfield, MO 65802.
