Kevin D. Joseph, 61, of Springfield, passed away on June 5, 2015. He was born January 6, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Kenneth D. and Mary Catherine Joseph. He was in the horse community and worked in the building business for many years. He was known as an animal lover with an adventurous spirit and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Kevin leaves behind two sisters, Colleen M. Smith and Sheila Brizendine; brother, Terry Joseph; uncle, Jerry Healy; four nieces and nephews, Joshua Smith, Meagan Mitchell, Lindsay Shadwell and Patrick Smith; two great-nephews, Wyatt and Oliver; and his beloved dog, Blu. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Tea Bar & Bites Cafe, 621 South Pickwick, Springfield MO 65802, with Father Thomas Kiefer officiating.
