Kevin Andrew Carson, 39, Springfield, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012. He was born in Atlanta, GA on June 7, 1973. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Elizabeth Carson; brother, Patrick and wife Kim and their children, Colton, Brooke, Sierra and Jake. Also numerous cousins, friends and extended family. Throughout his life, Kevin was a kind, generous person. He was an accomplished swimmer through high school into college. At MSU he majored in Hospitality Management because because he loved to cook for large groups of family and friends. He also worked in several area restaurants. Kevin was a believer and he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
